SENTIERI di Isabella Tosi
Il concept del progetto Sentieri di Isabella Tosi è narrare la storia camuna come un percorso, dove ogni arco rappresenta un capitolo, un’evoluzione della vita dei camuni preistorici seguendo idealmente i 5 periodi storici camuni: il Protocamuno, il I Periodo, il II Periodo, il III Periodo e il IV periodo. Con l’obiettivo di reinterpretare in chiave contemporanea temi e simboli antichi, l’artista sottolinea l’evoluzione storica dell’arte rupestre attraverso l’uso del colore.

L’opera è frutto dell’associazione di immagini moderne con scenari passati che creano un dialogo tra “strutture” del presente messe “in spalla” a “strutture” del passato. Un’associazione tra i simboli del potere di ieri e quelli di oggi, che ironizza su temi che oggi si ripropongono modernizzati o, paradossalmente, più retrogradi (il rapporto con la terra, con l’alimentazione, con il corpo e con la sessualità).
HANNO INCISO LE SUE RADICI di Carmine Cremis
La “faccia-traccia” di Carmine Cremis arriva nel Comune di Lozio, in Valle Camonica, dopo un lungo viaggio tra i continenti, colorandosi di blu in Europa, di giallo in Asia, di nero in Africa, di verde in Oceania e di rosso in America. Un segno, una “traccia” che apre un varco per conoscere le origini dei segni impressi in modo indelebile nell’anima e nella roccia camuna. La “faccia-traccia” si è aperta alle contaminazioni e ha dialogato con la valle e gli abitanti del comune di Lozio, dando origine a nuovi volti e a nuove identità.

PATHS by Isabella Tosi
The concept of the Paths project by Isabella Tosi is to tell the Camunian history like a route, where each arch represents a chapter, an evolution of the prehistoric Camunians’ life, following ideally the 5 Camunian historical periods: the Protocamunian, the 1st Period, the 2nd Period, the 3rd Period and the 4th Period. With the objective to reinterpret in a contemporary key ancient subjects and symbols, the artist emphasizes the historical evolution of rock art through the use of colour.

This work is the fruit of the association of modern images with scenarios from the past which create a dialogue between “structures” of the present put “on the shoulders” of “structures” of the past. An association between the symbols of yesterday’s and of today’s power, which speaks ironically about subjects that today appear again in a modern key or, paradoxically, more retrograde (the relationship with the earth, with nutrition, with the body and with sexuality).
THEY ENGRAVED ITS ROOTS by Carmine Cremis
Carmine Cremis’ “face-trace” arrives in the Lozio Municipality, in Valle Camonica, after a long journey among the continents, taking on blue color in Europe, yellow in Asia, black in Africa, green in Oceania and red in America. A mark, a “trace” which opens a passage to know the origins of the marks engraved indelibly in the soul and in the Camunian rock. The “face-trace” opened itself to contaminations and held a dialogue with the valley and the dwellers of the Lozio municipality, originating new faces and new identities.
